Your Museum Isn’t What You Say It Is

You might say a lot of things. The real question is: what are your visitors saying?

You might say your museum is a key voice in the fight for biodiversity. But if your visitors tell other people it’s boring, that’s what it is.

You might say it’s the first art museum where visitors make the art. But if your visitors tell other people all the interactives are broken, that’s what it is.

(By the way, somebody please make that museum.)

You might say it’s for the community. But if your visitors tell other people it’s not for them, that’s what it is.

Here’s the thing:
Your museum isn’t what you say it is. Your museum is whatever your visitors tell other people it is.

So give your visitors something to talk about.

Warmly,
Jonathan
